Podium is an events marketplace that brings women together at curated events in Singapore. These guidelines explain how we expect people to behave when they use the Podium app and attend our events, how to report someone, and how we keep the community safe. They apply to everyone who uses the Services and sit alongside our Terms and Conditions.

1. Our Community Guidelines
We want every event to feel safe, welcoming, and respectful. When you use Podium, you agree to:

Treat others with respect and kindness, both in the app and in person.
Be honest about who you are.
Respect other people's privacy and boundaries.
Follow the law at every event, including any rules around alcohol.
Look out for one another.

You agree not to:

Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate anyone.
Use hate speech, or discriminate against anyone.
Share content that is illegal, violent, sexually explicit, or meant to harm.
Misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliations.
Promote or sell products or services without our permission.
Collect or share another person's personal information without their consent.
Spam, or disrupt events or other users.

2. Reporting Someone
If someone makes you uncomfortable or breaks these guidelines, please tell us. There are two ways to report:

By email: write to support@podiumsociety.com.

It helps to include who or what you are reporting, what happened, and when. Screenshots are useful if you have them.

We take every report seriously. We act on reports of objectionable content or behaviour within 24 hours, by removing the content and, where needed, removing the person responsible from an event or from the Services. If you are ever in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services first.

3. Blocking Someone
Where the app lets you message or discover other users, you can block someone you do not want to interact with. To block a person, open their profile, tap the menu, and choose Block. Once blocked, that person can no longer contact you or see your profile through the app. You can manage the people you have blocked in your settings.

4. Enforcement
Depending on what happened, we may:

Give a warning.
Remove content.
Remove you from an event.
Suspend your access to the Services.
Permanently ban you and cancel any future bookings.

We decide what action to take at our discretion, with the safety of our community as the priority. Serious or illegal behaviour can lead to an immediate ban and may be reported to the authorities.

5. Your Safety at Events
Podium events bring people together in person. We do not screen attendees or run background checks, so please use the same good judgment you would in any public setting. Meet in the spaces the event provides, keep an eye on your belongings, and trust your instincts. You attend events at your own risk, as set out in our Terms and Conditions.
