This Privacy Policy explains how Podium collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you. "Podium", "we", "us", and "our" refer to PODIUM COLLECTIVE PTE. LTD. (UEN 202408881D), a company incorporated in Singapore. "You", "your", and "user" mean any person who uses the Podium app, website, or Services, or who attends our events.
We handle personal data in line with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). By using our Services, you consent to the practices described here and to our Terms and Conditions. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time as described in Section 8.

Some of this information, such as relationship status and whether you have children, may be sensitive. We collect it only with your consent and use it to recommend relevant events and tailor your experience. Providing it is optional, and the app works without it.

We collect crash and analytics data through Google Firebase and Sentry. You can review their privacy practices on their respective websites.

Our legal bases under the PDPA are your consent, the performance of our agreement with you, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services.
3. App Permissions
The Podium app may ask for the permissions below. You can grant or decline each one and change your choice later in your device settings.

Camera and Photos, only for their profile picture
We use these permissions only for the purposes described. We do not sell this data.
4. How We Share Your Information
4.1 With Service Providers
We use trusted providers to run our Services. These include Google (including Firebase), and Sentry. They may access certain data only to perform tasks for us, such as hosting data, analytics, crash reporting, and managing communications. They are required to protect your data and use it only for those tasks.
4.2 International Transfers
Some providers are located outside Singapore. Where we transfer your personal data abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives protection comparable to the PDPA.
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information where required by law or in response to a valid legal request, such as a court order, subpoena, or government investigation.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause significant harm, we will notify affected users and the relevant authorities as required under the PDPA.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as you actively use the Services, and for up to six months after your last use. You can delete your account and data at any time (see Section 7). We may keep aggregated, anonymised data that does not identify you indefinitely.
7. Account and Data Deletion
You can delete your account and personal data at any time, directly in the app. No email, support request, or form is required.
To delete your account:

Confirm
Once confirmed, your account and personal data are permanently deleted within 30 days, except for limited records we are required to keep by law. Aggregated, anonymised data that does not identify you may be retained.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Under the PDPA, you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
Withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your data
Opt out of marketing, using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us
Delete your account and data, as described in Section 7

9. Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended for individuals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@podiumsociety.com and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the latest version on this page and update the date above. For significant changes, we may notify you by email or in the app. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
